I'm finishing up my procharger install, and am curious about the emissions laws in DFW area since I'm moving there with the car in July.
From what I've gathered so far, the emissions people only plug in and read the computer. No rolling sniffers, and besides that, it seems the AIR pump is only on during cold start.
Has anybody ran their procharged C5 through emissions in Ft. Worth without the AIR pump with success?
They just check for emissions readiness and I think you're allowed one "not ready" status. Turning off the air pump using HPtuners or EFI live will prevent it from even reporting and causing an issue, so you'll be fine.
