Can i see some pictures of your intake tubes from the throttle body, with the speed density tune. I'd like to see what some of you have done with the IAT sensor. and also, does anyone have pictures of where they mounted the catch can after the procharger install. I'm not liking the way mine is set up.
I have exactly what you need. I will try and take/upload pics when I get home today. If you don't see it by 5:30pm central time, send me a PM.
I was the first one to have Andy make longer tubes to eliminate the MAF and he made extras at the time.
On my LS2 intake, I drilled it out next to the MAP sensor and put the IAT sensor there. It works great.
I just had two catch cans installed on my eninge. I have proCharger P1SC1 Stage II. I bought mine from Custom Corvette Accessories. This is what Chip sent me on how to connect them:
The hook up is a little different with a FI car.
I assume the PCV return and valve cover return nipples have been blocked off.
If this is the case, hook it up like this:
PCV
1) From the valley pan (PCV) run a line to the top of the can
2) From the side of the can, run a return line to the low pressure side of your procharger.
(most people run the return into the housing on the airfilter)
Valve cover
1) From the passenger side valve cover to the top of the can
2) From the side of the can to the low pressure side of the procharger (airfilter housing)
With a procharger, you can not use the return nipples on the manifold and throttle body becasue
they are on the high pressure side of the procharger.
I was kinda playing around with locations before I left the shop and where I have it now in the silicone couple seems ok, providing I make the snout a little shorter for the sensor to protrude into the center a little more. What do you guys think of this location?
