To be honest, the boost gauge is pretty worthless. If I were to only run two gauges it would be Fuel pressure and wideband A/F. Boost pressure isnt that important if you can monitor the other two.
I have three PLX displays mounted where the ash tray used to be. They are flexible to display most anything. I ususally show Boost, Fuel Pressure, and Air/Fuel ratio. Mine is a daily driver and a sleeper!

Boost a gauge is just for showing off for people looking in the window...You aint ever gonna look at it.
I disagree! I always peek at my boost gage, and my PLX has memory, so I can check to see what the peak was.
Ok..I guess that's just me then. Its glanced at occasionally but since I log each time I go out driving I really dont need gauges to look at while im driving and look things over while watching tv later....
I admit I have a triple pillar just for looks and intimidation for the cops but very rarely look at any of them while driving even when Im not logging.

Yea I noticed with my triple pillar all the teenagers wanna run me as soon as they see all the gauges. The older more refined crowd hangs back on my back 1/4 just kinda looking wondering whats going on with all the gauges. Its funny to watch them come hauling azz up on me, read my plate and think hmmmmm it aint stock and then slow way down right before my window noticing the gauges im sure and then hang back especially at night when they are all lit up. Some guys will not pull up next to me on the freeways even though im motioning them to come on and go for it.
If I hid them all no one would suspect anything more than a stock Vette...
Yea, Rcently I had a souped-up Trans-AM pull up behind me while I had the wife in the car. He was racing his engine a lot and trying to get me to race him. Well, with the wife in there, I would NEVER race someone! Anyone should understand that.
