James,

What I do is on A&A Triple is the following:

Have your SC back plate mounted to the engine

Pull the alternator top bolt and allow the alt. to slide and rest on the bracket, this gives you some room to work the belt.

Bring the belt up on the SC side and make your belt run around your idlers and SC pulley while making sure it doesn't get caught on the back side of the tensioner and block.

Get underneath and make sure the belt is going around the crank properly.

Now loosely bolt up the front side of the bracket to the back.

Make your belt run on the accessory side, alt. ps pump, w.pump etc....

Now what I do here is work the belt over the alt. pulley. I use a bit of lithium (no flames please, it works with no bad result) to help slide the belt over. I put just a bit where the blet is going to slide over the pulley. Once the belt is over the alt. pulley and rest of the belt is looped correctly tighten up all SC bracket bolts.

Use a pry bar to move the alt. back into place, re-install alt. top bolt and you should be good to go.

If you need any FI Accessories, let me know, that is my specialty.

No problem guys!! Like I said, the biggest PITA is around the tensioner/crank area, it is super tight. That is why lately I have been bring the belt up from the bottom so I can twist the belt vertical and get it to slide through the gap.
