Default another Dongle thread

I got my new dongle from A&A a while back (thanks Andy!!), but haven't had the time to put it on until yesterday. I also put one of my old filters on. The filter is at least 2 times the size of the original filter as is the dongle. Andy also sent me a new cover, which I had to modify to accommodate the new filter. I plan on going to visit Taylor at Dallas Performance in September and spending some more time tweaking on his dyno. He has the best dyno within a few hundred miles. It's the eddy current Dynojet dyno, so we can put a load on the car and tweak the timing while loading at specific speeds. The last time I dyno'd the car, the clutch was letting go and it was my 8th pass in an hour. With the new dongle, filter and clutch, I'm hoping to at least hit 912rwhp.

Here are some pics of the old and new dongle and filter side by side.

Not really sure. I made the #'s in my sig with the smaller one, so I don't really see it being that restrictive. One other thing is that the YSi intake is 4" unlike the smaller units, so I've wished it were larger to at least match the intake of the blower. If you want my guess, I would say you should be easily good to 750+rwhp with the smaller one.

Can you do me a favor? Can you take a shot of the dongles from a horizontal angle so I can get an idea of how much bend they have. I need to find one to replace my current setup and am looking for ideas. Mine is very tight coming up and over the radiator.

Thanks!

Thanks!
Sorry but there's no way I'm taking that dongle back out, but if you think a side shot with it installed will do, I'll take one and post it up. Let me know.

Just about .5psi less than you just to be safe.

If it sells it sells. I'm going to keep playing with my toy until then. Certainly better than watching TV on most days.

Very well! Can you get one more where the dongle clears the radiator, the hood strut covers it in the first pic. That would be perfect. What does the dongle run?
