Traction is not your problem. Power is. You need to 'get over it' also.

If I can smash Funcool, and he can smash you at will, I don't need to go to the track.
It's obvious I'm fast and your slow. In the end, that's all I need to know.

Except that your car only runs low 11's...only time u will get any props will be when that car runs a decent number at the track..U sound like the fast and frustrated crew making up time slips after racing someone on the street..get that lunch box to the track and get a real time slip..

What does any of this little girl bickering have to do with the TVS? Shut up.

I would like to get more specifics on this build and am interested in what is needed to install a 2300 onto an LQ9 with LS1 heads. Any info on the modifications needed to make it work would be awesome!

Why do you want to run LS1 heads? I assume you're running either stock 4inch bore on the lq9 (in which case ls1 heads built for a 3.9 inch bore would not usually be chosen) or you're running a bit larger (say, 4.06?) which happens to be perfect for a set of LS3 heads, and viola, they have a 2300 for the LS3!!

Sounds not so bad to me I guess?? is there a reason you'd want to run ls1 heads on an LQ9 block?

Running the LS1 heads because thats what I had laying around. I have the crane gold 1.8 rockers and a ported exhaust, but I am waiting to see where I go from my maggie. Once I do that I will choose my heads.

I hear you when it comes to "I already have the parts" but I'm betting you'll end up cheaper to sell the ls1 heads and pickup some ls3 heads vs modifying the 2300.

either way, let us all knwo how the 2300 goes if you decide to pursue it.
