I have a 2000 non-ZO6 and have another air sensor coming out of the MAF which runs back toward the TB and mounted into the air bridge putting it much closer to the TB than the MAF..( I have a Blackwing with a Dry NOS system and foggers mounted into top of said Blackwing)..What is the reasoning for the extra sensor?...My local Corvette Dr. told me I can reposition my NOS foggers into the smooth silicone coupler (right in front of the TB) as long as the extra sensor is between the two. I feel like an arss questioning his statement but I just want to get second opinions...after all he is a "doctor"...haha
My main goal obviously is to put the N2O closer to the TB vs. way up front where it is now....thoughts/confirmation?...thanks in advance..Paully

Did some reading and that seems to be it...I was just trying to understand why it's there on my year and not on later vettes..I thought the MAF itself does it all.
You may want to consider dropping the nozzle(s) and adding a dry plate for nice clean look? that is the best way to do a dry hit these days and use the Interface for fueling. Then you can adjust your a/f ratio in 5hp increments leaner or richer and it will stay stable at what ever a/f you chose. also, has timing pull built in. Pics/info on my web.
