hi gents i havent been posting here for a while , was on to many bussnis trips , any ways down to the subgect , i need your help , a month and a half ago i had a blow-by and me and my mechanec thoust it was one piston shot , after des asembly we found not 1 nor 2 but 3 pistons broken, and some crack in the combastion chambers on the heads rite between the valves, that was the Karnage Part
now for the good news , i installd new Dimond forged -6CC pistons and patriot stage 3 heads , and a new camshaft that was recomended by LPE for my twin turbo Vete LPE.
now for the quistion, what should be the run in haw many miles should i drive for the break in , and thin take it to the DYNO for some tunning on the new set up .
Was your motor forged before? Did you get any dyno numbers with the bigger turbo's? Why didn't you go with the GT7 cam? What is your compression now? I believe LPE puts on a 100 miles for break in. Then, you will need to vary the speed for the next couple hundred miles.
