Default Ambient Temperature

My car is a twin turbo TTi X kit. It was around 98* here in Ohio on Sunday and the car did not seem like it had its usual snap . Is that because of the temp or what? On cool monings its all I can do to keep the rear wheels planted

Thanks,
The Big Dog

Turbos love cool air and tires hate cold pavement.

Hot weather would definetely lessen HP and TQ - It happens to all of us who are FI!

Best way to find out is do a LOG with HP Tuners of the IAT temps and that'll really help inform you why it'll lag in Hot Weather

Do you have Methanol Injection?

Thanks,Matt

Got methanol and it kicks in at 2 lbs of boost.

I sell a lot of these gauges to guys that put one sensor at the air filter and one at the throttle body. Another way other than HP logging.

These are great for watching your IC temps.

Like the others have said, our turbo's LOVE the cool air, but the thick hot air chokes them to death. My car is the same way, it LOVES the cool air. Noticable difference in performance.
