If you lose 1 pound of boost I'd be surprised. The Big 3 sounds good. I have it on my car with a 408 and no cats. It's got a great tone and not too loud but it drones like a mother trucker. I had stingers before on the 346 but they would have been un-bearable on my 408.
on stock cubes with cats it's prob close to none. On my 408 with a nasty little cam, 1 7/8 longtubes with no cats...it drones like hell. Probably not nearly as bad as my old stingers would have though.

At 80 MPH on my Vette it is almost silent at 60-80 MPH-up it is still nearly silent!
The "ONLY" Resonence/Drone I get on my "A4" Automatic w/3.42 gears and YANK 3200 Stall, is right around 1500-1600 RPM's. WHY?
I had my converter locking up way to early so I changed it to lock-up later, mostly during cruising speeds (Locks up @ 57 MPH now as opposed to 40 MPH in 4th gear).
My wife really likes this setting on the tranny and really enjoys driving the Vette more so now than before (So I benefited twice)
Now if I had a MN6 there would be "NO" Issue at all, because I could leave it in the gear I want, whereas I can't with the A4 it has to shift and then Lock-Up, but again I was able to adjust the lock-up settings to eliminate the dropping of RPM's and LUGGING which is what made it Resonate
