Blitz SBC ID II boost controller over boosting
My car has been overboosting no matter what I set my EBC settings on. I unplugged the solenoid unit and boost only went to 7 lbs as it should with the 7 lb springs. I plug the controller back up and over boost happens. The vacume lines are in good shape. Controller has worked fine for over a year. I disassembled the solenoids...see if I could find anything obvious. They dont seem to be frozen up . I placed a test light to ground over their contacts and an audible closure of contacts can be heard and they stop air being blown through them when the contacts were activated in that way. Blitz help line wasnt very much help. They suggested I reset the unit. I will try that and see what happens. Any suggestions...these things are very expensive.

Check very closly the lines to your wastegate/s. Mine had a pin hole blowout and it would boost creep bad. Pull the vac lines off the solenoid, use an air hose on low pressure and fit it to the hose. listen for leaks. Also listen to hear that your wastegates are opening and closing

Well I am surprised. I did the system reset at the bottom of the menu which I had forgotten about...seems to have fixed it. I think the calibration had gotten off set somewhere along the line.
