tensioner rubbing
Hello i have a ZO6 with an early style procharger P1SC-1 I notice that the belt tensioner pulley was rubbing on the mounting bracket. I took every thing apart and the pulley has no play in it that i can feel. I bought the car with the supercharger already installed i have put over 6000 miles on it so i am pretty sure it just started. I have been looking at it closer and it looks like the pulley is to wide for my setup i know the these setups are squeezed in there, but looking at the pulley it has less then a couple mili meters to flex back and forth as the tensioner moves as the engine torques. I am wondering what is need to fix the problem do i need a new tensioner and pulley or is something out of alignment?
