Default Superchargers

Well, Eventually ... hopefully shortly rather than not. I plan on going FI, but don't know which route i want to take yet. Procharger/supercharger/turbo whatever. This is still going to be a streetable car when I'm done and I just can't make up my mind on what i want to do. Needed upgrades i should have done prior to just so i know i'm not forgetting anything would be awesome too.

The answer you will get is that you cant go wrong with either the ECS/A&A kit or the TTI X. The next thing will be what are your plans for the car? Street/strip/autocross strictly street a combination of the three etc. I have a D1SC on my car with the following support mods to take advatange of the power---
F/I--
D1SC Pro-Charger Polished 7lbs
Vortech Mondo Bypass Valve
Polished Brackets
A&A FMIC
Snow Performance Meth
Internals--
1.7 Harland Sharp Rockers
Manley Hardened Push Rods
Patriot "Gold" Springs
Titanium Retainers
Fuel--
FAST 90mm Intake Ported by Vengeance Racing
Nick Williams 90mm Ported Polished TB
42lb Inj
KB Boost a Pump
Exhaust--
American Racing Long Tube Headers & X-Pipe
Corsa Touring Cat Back
Clutch--
Monster Clutch STG 3

The clutch was the only thing I didnt do when I did everything else just about a year apart. I ate thru the stock clutch in no time. I never tracked it at all, all street. You will get many different answers and suggestions and recommendations. Take them all for what they are worth, best advice from me is get out see if you can find Vetters in your area that have FI ride with them or convience them to let you take it for a spin see what you like. Most importantly that I and ALL will agree on is the importance of a tune and tuner that knows what he is doing... oh and if you spend a little time on the first 2-3 pages of this forum and read most the threads you will pick up on some good info! GL with your choice!!!

What do you want to do with the car (drag race, street race, autox, HPDE/road course, cruise, highway pulls, show).

so long as its done right you can't go wrong with any form of FI but you can get frustrated with the delivery if you pick the wrong TYPE of FI for what you intend to do with the car...

My suggestion would be to do ALOT of research and take some
time to think things through. Don't rush into anything until you
are sure of what will work for you. Good luck.

Preference IMO. They all can be very reliable and make unbelievable power.

I'd pick a shop/tuner, and go with their recomendations. You can't go wrong with any of those blower companies though.

Awesome thanks for the advice although what makes the most sense is the use what your tuner is familiar with. I know turbotech up in tacoma has some great turbo packages they offer but as I said I really don't want a turbo.
