Vortech YSI question
To upgrade to a YSi from the V2-SQ model, do i have to buy the new head unit outright? Or is there another method for this?
Thanks
Daniel

Vortech offer about $1k for your unit which is worth more than that. Then they make you pay retail for the Ysi. More of a sucker program if you ask me.

You might consider selling yours and buying USER_NAME's T-trim if you can strike a decent deal with him. Should be easy since you're both in Houston.

Somebody else limited your choices.

yup... i should have paid the 800$ and gotten the YSi at the start. Kicking myself for it now, but i'll have to deal with it.
IF someone is interested... the unit is practically brand new.

That's cool, 4 choices.
I'm just glad I never had to upgrade.

Can't you trade it in ?
Or just sell the whole kit and start over?

Did you read the first post where he was asking if he could trade it in? Your input in this thread is invaluable...

How many miles on it? How long have you had it? PM me the serial number... we'll get you squared away.

Less than 1300 miles (this is a high estimate) and it's been installed, sitting in my garage since Mid-June.
