Default Alignment Issues with a ProCharger Bracket

My car has started eating the serpentine belt in the past couple of months. I took it to a shop that has a laser alignment tool. They determined the problem is my ProCharger P1SC1 unit is 'cockeyed'. Besides not being aligned perfectly, it is also twisted a bit.

Joey, at Corvettes and Classis in Greenville, SC, is the one working on it for me. he has been waiting over 24 hours for ProCharger to return his call! in the mean time, I don't have a car to drive. I am getting a bit upset with ProCharger support!

Has anyone else ever had this alignment issue with their ProCharger?

Is there a better bracket that will hold its alignment?

Sounds like you have a bent bracket for sure!

Not a common problem, perhaps one of those rare misfortunes. I personally have delt w/ProCharger and have had no issues.

I usually go beyond so if I were you I too would be calling and talking with ProCharger, get a contact and ride it till it's solved. It bodes well to get info yourself at times so you might want to try giving them a call and see if you can speed things along.

Sorry for your misfortune - I hope you are able to get a lender car from a friend to get around

Keep us posted as to your results

Thanks,Matt

My experience with ATI is that it can sometimes take a while to get a return call. As Matt suggested, get on the phone yourself and call them. They are good guys but are busy.

Thanks guys for the advice. If Joey does not hear by morning, I will definitely call ProCharger.
