Im building to handle 20 for the occasional romp down the quarter. Most time it will stay on low boost. Just dont want to build to 10 then run 20 and its gone.
That the smart way to do it, wish you could do the same with Centrifigals without having to change pulleys to do so.
I've seen a couple of wastegate set-ups on Centrifigals, but don't know how they have worked out over a longer period of time.
SC and turbos are two different animals as you already know.
At 20 lbs of boost your motor would not last long if you drive it hard.
Just look around at the number of blown engines with relatively low mileage.
I went with a 416 (LS3) and i'll be happy with 650 rwhp. If you can't floor (WOT) all the way thru at your current level of power why do you need anymore.
Bragging Rights is the only reason that I can think of ? It just ain't worth it.
I understand, I was mainly referring to the option most turbo guys have with 2 or 3 settings, such as a driving mode and a kill mode. The kill mode wouldnt be needed often

I think you need a 25psi setting. Too many fast cars around here.
