Your right on the edge on a 2 bar. Just do a 3 bar closed loop SD tune.

Dont waste your time on a MAF tune. Your flyin blind with that kind of boost.

is there not a 2.5 bar map out there... the only thing I don't like about the 3bar is that it does not fit directly into the manifold.

3 bar here. If your running a 2bar and go past 14psi then it's no different than running a maf IMO.

2 bar SD with 13 to 14 lbs. Run a mix of 100 octane with high setting only. Any higher than that and I'll have to get a newer pcm.

Heck I don't have a choice on my Vette I had to do a 2 BAR SD tune w/No MAF!

But if you are able to do a 3 BAR then I'd have the tuner tune it that way, that will enable you to have a "HUGE" table of tunin g peramiters for the Vette

Thanks,Matt

I have a MAF tune with 11 lbs of boost. Are there any issues with this? I heard SD tunes are bad for places with large temp changes. I don't really know anything about it though to be honest.

We are running just under 800rwhp on our shop sts twin turbo c5 on a 2bar map (SD) with in dash eboost2 controller. Since we've tuned each cell, we can dial in the eboost to whatever level we'd like and there are 3-5 presets you can define. We currently have 3 presets on 7, 10, and 14psi. F the maf! The car is cam'd and we've got it idling like a dream.

Thanks. Will that sensor plug in directly or do I need to adapt the wires to it?
