Moving Gauges

I need to re-arrange my gauges and I need to extend some of the wires. Not sure which gauge wire to use for the extension. What gauge do you guys recomend to extend the wires?

There is no load on the wires.
I keep a good selection of 18 gage TXL automotive grade wiring.
It is what they are originally wired with.
That will work fine.
I would highly recommend soldering all connections, I don't like butt connectors.
