well got it all done, tranny shifts great and everything looks good,,, other than how much it moves the rear tires back in the wheelwell. Who will be the 1st vendor to make some control arms to recenter the tires? I wouldn't think it would be that hard to do, but I am not an engineer either.
Post up some pics, details ? Did you use a complete C6 lower cradle/susp or just cradle with C5 arms/coilovers ?Just went out and looked at mine again,looks/drives normal aligned fine . Did you use a different torque tube ?

I have a complete 08z cradle and pfadt mounts, same tq tube. I can't post pics, it moves the tires back 5/8's inch and with 305/35/18 there is less than an inch clearance at the rear. I knew it would move it back, just didn't think it would be as noticeable as it is. I luv the set up, drives and handles great.

Nice, those pfadt mount are great! You can email the pictures to me and I'll post them for ya.
Think my buddies C6 TRANNY just went,.... do you know what is needed to swap a C6 Z06 transmission into a 05 C6? Still need the different cradle?...
Depends on the year. Up to 07, it should all just bolt up with no adapters or anything. 08& up, you have to run the pump lines for the trans and differential to something. Either a cooler or a loop.
The fix exists already. Just put your C5 arms back on, remove the C6 arms and spring and run coil-overs.
I have the same setup in my 99. The 305/35/18 drag radials were pushed towards the rear, but worked fine. My problem is that I use 28" slicks on the track which didn’t fit in the opening anymore. After we put my c5 lower control arms back in with Pfadt coil over's my 28's fit again... I was afraid that when the tires expanded on the big end they were going to rub the paint because there was less than 1" clearance when parked. I went through the traps yesterday at 148 mph with no rub.... The fix is confirmed...

how much are the coil overs? I have all the parts to do it other than them. Maybe in the future I will do that. First thing though is to get a flip drive, I went to a 3.85 pulley to get some power back with out using meth, now I have belt slip at 11 lbs, should have 14 or more I think

LG has them for $1,850 and they have gotten some good reviews.
o jeez, thats more than I thought, I guess it looks just fine hahaha. I will never run bigger tires anyway. Next step is to sell it and get a c6z with a warranty. I have had enuff corvette repair lessons ($$$).
