powerglide shifter
I know I have seen it somewhere on the forum and I searched but came up dry.
What shifter do I use for the Powerglide,transbrake? (original a4 car with auto console) Would it be better/easier to use a manual console?

Are you saying the automatic shifter (stick, ****, face) all drops out and can be replaced with a boot and will look just like a m6 center? (sorry, have no experience in a 6-speed vette and I haven't seen my own but twice in 1 1/2 years.:o)

For the ones that we installed, I used a stock 6 spd shift boot, and a B&M Pro Bandit with the magna shift handle. We made two small brackets off the mounts with a spacer, and bolted it right to tunnel very easily. We can probably send you some pics if it helps.
