APS issues
I have a 99 vert that has the aps twins,I am thinking about going back to the original heads cam setup that I had before installing this aps system.I have had a lot of problems with the car.
The car seems to run rich and always has a burping sound.I would greatly appreciate anyones input as to what the problem could be,also i am scared to drive the car to far from home,I have replaced the 02 sensors twice.

Thats all in the tune my friend. Find a GOOD tuner in your area, that is knowledgeable with F/I on LS motors, and have them tune it. Im sure it will be a whole new animal.

I see you had it installed at LAPD. I am trying to remember your car, as I went there quite a few times before the previous owner drove it into the ground and closed it.
Was Doug the tuner? If not, you can run it over to his new shop. (Uhh, Idont know if their a supporting vendor, so I cant say) Or run it over to Charlie at RPM.
If not, bring it out to Vegas, and we'll take care of it. I'm just about to return a TT we just did for a guy in your neck of the woods. We would be more than happy to pick yourcar up and bring it out here.

My car was the second C5 that LAPD was installing the system on,there was an 03 yellow z06 ahead of mine,my car was light pewter ,6 speed vert.
My car ran great for the first 1000 miles until the 02 went out ,after that the car did not seem the same,its got that burping sound and its seems like its misfiring,Ive only driven the car about 2000 miles since the install.
I will be contacting Doug at his new shop,I hope Doug will be able to help me.
