Alright I have toyed with idea of nitrous but I always talk my self out of it but have getting my doors blown off my a Cobra as of late I find myself drawn back to it. I have a 2000 Corvette with 117k miles, doesn't burn oil runs great and feels as strong as my old vette that had low miles so I think thats not a problem. So what I want to know is right now completely bone stock I run 13.2 sec quarters, if I simply added a 75-150hp shot of nitrous (how much should you run without worrying about breaking anything), what kind of quarters would I get? Also what system would be the best to run, what safety features, and would I have to worry about toasting my clutch. Can I do the install? I consider myself a fairly good mechanic but have never done anything with nitrous before. Also can I run the same injectors or will they be over worked and the car will run too lean? Any info on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Alright after I posted this I did some reading.... these, http://www.go-fast.org/z28/new_to_nitrous.html, http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/nitrou...s-related.html, are two excellent links to info if anyone else has the same questions. So I am guessing I am going to want to run a dry system correct? It seems simplier? But has anyone had any experience with actual ET results and want about the clutch?
Man oh man, it would take pages to answer all of your questions correctly. Maybe start with one area, or one question. Something to consider, the all in one answer threads you linked, be carefull as some info is skewed, just be carefull. For the most part they are not updated with the latest dry technology, as it has come a long way as of recent, that is in to the high-tech arena. Your doing it correct though by gathering info and knowledge. Once you get a good understanding you will be able to see where input may be off somewhat. Anyway, I have many years of experiance spraying dry shots in all shapes and forms. Maybe we could start with some basic questions? My site has some how-tos, like c5 plate install, and correct/safe c5 bottle install. Just that type of knowledge will allow insight on your part for future questions.

Alright thanks for the info. So would going on ebay and getting one of the 75-150hp dry nitrous kits for around $300 be a bad idea. Or would it be a nice starting point and add the safety features one by one?
the best advice i can give you is dont be scared i had the same issues i have a 04 zo6 and had a 150 wet shot installed and to date i have had not one problem you must seek the help of a good tuner!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAD CARTEK INSTALL MY SYSTEM and they did it perfect the install is neat and clean and safe they no how far you can go before you will have problems and they keep you in that safe zone and believe me a 150 shot makes a big difference it will put a big smile on your face again spend a little extra and have it done right call max at CARTEK and he will help you at the end of the day you will be happy you did you will deff be in the low 12s also if you had a issue with you clutch hanging up as i did you will be changing your clutch soon pm me if you need more info i have some videos of how well nitrous works
