Default 2010 modifications...let's hear them?

With the new year approaching quickly let's hear what you might be changing or what goals you hope to acheive for 2010? After all this is the Forced Induction section so I'm certain that for many of us its never enough

For me, I'll need to start budgeting for some driveline upgrades as that is my weakest link for now. With some more seat time and a fresh set of tires I also hope to be deep into the 9's! I might also consider pullying down to 2.75" pulley and deleting the cats, for off road use of course.

Oh, lots of tuning.. Thicker headgaskets to get the CR down a bit and start gearing up for the TTiX install, new wheels/tires and a seat/harnessbar/harness setup... that's the 2000... the 1998 will probably get new front tires and some tuning (neverending, afterall) and just driven a LOT this summer... For now they're both in the garage.

Sticking with all GM roots for next year, I was originally thinking RHS block etc etc, and decided that with the rediculous longevity we seem to get from GM stuff, I'm sticking with them.

Basically a full GM performance products build for 2010, the LSX block we won in Memphis will become a 427, with LSX-LS7 heads, and Paxton is working on a little surprise for me.

My drive train will get my Pfadt drive shaft installed, and the trans will get our C6 ZO6 diff upgrade.

Goal? 8.50's in the heat, mid to low 1.2 60' times, 7's IRS when the moon and stars align, and ice cream at the Jersey shore on nice nights.

(ok, 7's may be stretching it a bit, but it's my build, so I'm reaching for the stars. Even if I fall a bit short, it aint bad!!)

So are we going to see any of our Northern brothers coming down for an ECS challenge in 2010? We are starting a new 9.5 index class next year!

Uh... okay!

And, you already know what mods I'm doing. But, if others want to see the madness of it all, visit: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3116898 and scroll down to the bottom, where it says: "What's Next / Future Mods:"

My goal is to compete in that new Pro 9.50 for 2010, after racing the Pro 10 this past year. Or, maybe do both in 2010. Or maybe just go insane, although I think I'm already there

I plan on modding my checking account into a larger one by not dumping 10G's+ on my car in 2010 LOL. Just hope my stock bottom end and stock clutch hold at 645/550..... hey wishful thinking is OK right?

Not a thing. It's been a rock solid performer for years.

Pump gas and change the oil every 3,000 miles. I can't see mucking with that.
