Default Lose MAP readings when convert to SD tune.

BlownBlueZ06 has been working w/ me on this one and we are both stumped.

I recently converted my car over to a SD tune. I followed the demo video and did an entire re-write to the car.

Here is the problem. When I put the SD tune into the car the MAP goes dead. It shows 105 kPa, key on, not running. When I crank the motor it stays at 105 kPA and will not move. The car will not start like this.

So I can give it alittle throttle just to get it to start running, it runs rough and will die as soon as I let off. The MAP does not move even when the motor is running.

Just as a sanity check I put he MAF tune back into the car. The MAP will read 100 kPA, and as soon as you crank it the car fires right up and then the MAP reads 42 kPa.

Do you have any idea why my MAP does not function when I put the SD tune in?

I did this w/ both the 2 Bar MAP and the 1 Bar MAP. Both will read 42-42kPa when the car is running w/ the MAF tune installed. Then both will read 105 kPa w/ the SD tune installed.

Look at your map scaling in the SD tune, it may be off.

So with the 2 bar MAP, and the 2 bar tune, it stays that way?

Jeff, yes 2 bar MAP & 2 bar tune the map will only read 105kPa on the logger.

TXZ06, I did not delete anything. I simply ran the HPtuners conversion from 1 bar to 2 bar.

After a long night on the computer w/ TXZ0603, we may have gotten somewhere.

I never added the 2 Bar PID into my data logger. So once I had that in, I deleted the standard 1 bar PID, and a few other things (STFT, LTFT) ext. just to get me started.

NOW when I crank the car and get it to fire and run for a few seconds, the 2 Bar MAP is reading 202.83 kPa. So the computer is seeing the sensor.

So I have a feeling I am back to start and my orginal thinking that the 2 Bar MAP sensor I bought is screwed up.
