I just wanted to see what times people were running with 6spd FI cars and what there set ups were

wow nothing! post up some times I know there are some fast ones on here. I am not trying to see who has the biggest "yard stick" just looking into how I would have to set up my future build with help from proven results

Maybe I need to be more specific, I am looking for specific set up details to achieve these 9 sec runs with a 6spd. I.E
RPM built stock trans,
new 08 Z06 trans
what diff with spline details
trans brace
what hardend output shafts?
suspension, coil overs ect
size tires, slicks, drag radial
which rims, ccw drag pack ect
2 step, line lock
I know it is not easy to get a 6spd vette into the 9's so I wanted detail info on how people have done it to replicate there achievments

Rpm c6zo6 diff 342 gears
Ecs trans / diff brace
rps tripple carbon clutch
Stock axles and driveshaft
26 inch et streets ,28 inch optimal
Ccw drag pack
Phadt coil overs
Line lock for burnout
2 step but don't think it was used for the 9.25 pass
Not sure how deep your looking to go we went 9.90 on 18 inch drag radials on a 1.6 . 60 ft . It can be easily done with big power and the proper set up,call rpm ask for TJ tell him you want kyles set up and your be ready to handle it. From what rpm tells me a lot of people are going for the six speed record this year so it should be really fun. Hope this helps you out. Mark

I believe thats Greg's car a twin turbo from LPE he went 9.44 had the six speed record for years until Rob z broke it with his 9.33

Thanks for the helpful info, I have herd people going the new ZO6 trans/diff route but was not sure if people have beat on them and how long they hold up to hard launches to get into the 9's. So whats up with the torque tube and drive shaft, will I need an upgrade or not it seems people have been doing it without but I am not sure for how long before that will b the weakest link?

There is also the LPE car that held the record for years at 9.45, and one of the guys running our kit in TX ran 9.59 I think. All great accomplishments.

Just to clarify. My time was run NA. No power adder on the car what so ever. I had a built trans from 6sp inc. But the gearing was stock with stock rear and a hardend out put shaft. The suspension and what not was stock. I was running a Tex twin clutch. 9's shouldn't be any problem with any sort of power adder that is making over 650rw.
