Default BAP Install question?

BAP has several wires, two red, and I beleave 3 black wires, and one wire with a black, and red wire together. The question is to make continues power without the control **** do I need to place the red wire and black wire togther?

And if there is a link on here that shows pictures or better installation instruction it would be great...

You didn't mention which BAP you have (there are several manufacturers). For the KB BAP, if you want it on all the time you connect the wires that go to the pressure switch. As far as the control **** is concerned, I believe that it contains a variable resister. I am not sure at full gain whether that is 0 resistance or max resistance. I suggest that you use a voltmeter to check. You might have to buy a resister to simulate max gain. Also, as I recall during my install the wires that connect to the gain **** are shielded RCA type. You may have to buy a bridge wire for a clean install.

I would not recommend that you leave the BAP on all the time. This might fry your fuel pump.

I bought Kenne Bell for that reason, only activates the BAP when boost is active.
