Default blower cam ??

im running a comp 54-444 its 224/230 581/592 on 114 in my procharged 402 a4 auto 8-10psi boost 600rwhp do you think a better cam would make more power? like ecs?what do you gus think help please my p1 procharger is almost at max boost with 3.50 pulley!im thinking about sendig it in for a D1 upgrade but thats 1500.00 were do i go next for more power?

I have the same cam but on a 115, 346 D1 and made 697rwhp. I think the D1 would be the best bang for the $$.

how much boost you running?auto a4? i think your right about the D1 it would cost me 1000.00 to change the cam or 1500.00 to go with more boost from a D1 4psi more would be about 80 hp right?thanks bro!

has anyone ever changed a cam out like mine to a ecs cam and got more power?or a different blower cam?

The cam you are running is ok, not great but it will work. You are trying to feed a 402 with a P1 so you will be limited. Are you running an 8 rib belt? I would not drop down from the 3.5 head unit pulley or you will end up with belt slip issues. I know its expensive but I would probably try and search around for a D1.. You can sometimes sell your P1 and find a used D1 for a few more bucks..

I sold my P1 for $800 and found a polished D1 for $1700. Look on all the LS forums. I found mine in the C6 for sale section of CF.

I'd consider a P1 because my D1 will be too much for my clutch if I ever fix the dam belt slip
