i'm building an LS7 for my c5. i can not decide on what i want to do with it though. i've been torn between a PTK style turbo kit, a YSi, a dragon race engineering 3.3 whipple, or a direct port 200-300 shot.
i'm looking for an end result of 800-900 rwhp and any of the 3 will do it.
anyone wanna give me some tips and advice? the car is gonna see a lot of street use with occassional drag strip use.
for street why use NOS? You will be re filling the bottle every 2weeks, I my self love Superchargers, and with the new flipdrive its a work of art. Bi power all the time and its not bottled. But to be an 800+ hp you will need to do more than bolt a blower in. Vortec or Procharger are the only blower I would except

plan is a 440 LS7 with all forged internals, so a YSi or a whipple 3.3 would easily get me to 800+ rwhp
NOS
i didn't say i'd be spraying everyday. the nitrous motor would make 600 rwhp NA, so i really wouldn't NEED to spray on the street. the car will see occassional drag strip use. thats where the nitrous will come in handy
YSi has my vote.
Clean, simple proven system with the absolute best customer service in the industry standing behind it.
No bottles to fill.
Working on the vehicle after the install will remain simple and uncomplicated.
No turbo oiling or heatsoak issues.
