I just bought a NOS plate kit from a buddy for 600 bucks. Included is all wiring, 10lb bottle, purge kit, window switch, WOT switch, bottle heater, and jets for 100, 125, and 150 shot. Do I need a fuel pressure safety switch? I don't really plan on hooking up the spray until I do my heads and cam. Right now I am going through the traps at 114-115mph at about 5900rpm in 4th gear. I know with spray I will have to shift into 5th at the track, which I won't do. So what do you guys think?
I run the a/f shutdown through the stock narrow band VIA microedge and it works great. I have run a fpss on other setups and never had a problem. How i see it is, if you have injectors to the limit on their duty cycle, but your pump is still strong, fuel pressure, etc it wont drop low enough too cut it off anyways. Something referencing the engines a/f ratio would be more accurate. I have mine set to cut off ~13.4 afr.
Sell the WOT switch and widow switch ad buy the microedge. Youll have to have a throttle by wire activation anyway. Its $160 if i remember right. Great little box that has a lot of featres plus its easy to istall.

I'm going to use both . Microedge NB shutdown & FPSS. It may be overkill but it will be a backup in case one dosn't work as planned. $50 cheap insurance.
