Hi Guys:
I have a 00'vette with a ls2 and a P1SC-1procharger kit. I also have a 232-240 with a lift of 595 and 608 cam the degree is 114. My problem is When I turn the AC on the engine shuts off.I have been told that if you drill a hole on Throttle blade I should be able to fix it. Is this true? if it is true how big should it be? I know that all engines are different but where should I start? any other solutions? My tunner is using E-live.Guys I know when you use big cams this things happen just asking for help.
That cam isn't too big. You can tune it out. Drilling a hole is an old cheat. There are some idle adaptive/compensation tables that you can use to add airflow/timing when the A/C is on. That's where you need to be looking. Where do you live?
Your idle tuning could be on the edge by itself and turning on the A/C is pushing it over. Make sure you tune the idle airflow first and then work on the compensation.

That cam is far from to big, I have that same size cam in my car right now but on a 117. Do not drill a hole in the TB blade, just get the idle tuned correctly.
