Default What Power Adder for this setup???

Hey, there.
Ive been looking into upgrading the HP of my 01 C5z but I cant decide on what power adder to go with next!! (Roots SC, Centri SC, or Nitrous) I like the current driveabiltiy of my Z with the current mods but would like to know what I need to look into next as for Nitrous or Boost. So if i could get each of your opinons on boost/nitrous and what you would pick for the next route of this setup. Would like to crest 600rwhp with a little room to grow and not destroy the driveline in the process.

You cant beat the power from an ECS or AandA kit.

I would go with the A@A T-trim it comes with fuel system up grade! low boost like 6-8 psi on all your mods would make 600rwhp easy!! the T trim is the med. size blower you could crank it up to 12 psi easy and make 700rwhp anytime

^ Thanks for the direction!! Any suggestions on which cam to go with??? Im not sure if the 233/239 113lsa is boost friendly. Do you think the Clutch/diff/ and trans would take 600-650rwhp??

btw V-2 T Trim or V-3 T Trim??

If you like the cam leave it, like said above go with the A&A T-trim or ECS Paxton 1500 kit (both head units are similar). The only difference betweem the V2 and V3 is the V2 is engine oil feed and the V3 is self contained so if you dont mind tapping the pan for the return line go with the V2. You may or may not need to add an additonal fuel system when you get over 650-700rwhp, every car is different. Also I would add a meth kit. I would pick which kit you want and give them a call see what they suggest as far head units, fuel systems, and meth kits.

So the 233/239 would still work fine with a Centri setup?? As for the fuel system what do most run with a H/C/I/SC setup for 6-8lbs of boost?? I thought most switched to a twin intank pump.

FWIW i would rather stick with the self Contained oil setup.

Looking at your original post above your compression ratio should be in the low 10.1:1 range (Not knowing how far the pistons are out of the hole and not knowing your head gasket thickness keeps me from calculating exact compression.)

That being said, as previously mentioned both A&A and ECS offer excellent supercharger systems for your application. Nitrous is another option, while a bit less expensive it is harder on parts Vs a centrifigul supercharger.

In regard to your fuel system, for the power you are looking for a simple Kenny Bell Boost Pump on top of your current pump should prove to be reliable.

If considering the A&A kit definately go with the V3 head unit to avoid drilling your oil pan.

Your camshaft should be fine for a centrifigul application. It has a decent split and the 113 LSA should help offset the boost.

We are a dealer for Nitrous Outlet/East Coast Supercharging/ and A&A Corvettes. If we can help you with any of them please do not hesitate to call.

We will meet/beat anyones advertised pricing and have a reputation that is 2nd to none.
