Default forged 346

I have been saving up to build the vette for boost and want something reliable and not have to worry about putting a hole in the piston or bending a rod. Now i know the rods/pistons are the weak spot in the ls1 so I am thinking of doing stock size forged pistons and rods ( I dont want to start bore/decking/machining thats when it gets expensive). Now will these pistons and rods do the job with no machining and keeping or lowering cr:

If this bottom end setup would work together about how much hp would it take? Any other recommendations for weak spots?
Thanks for any help and all suggestions

That will work for no more than you are looking for, but look at the heads and V/springs for the heads. That is if you are trying to get by cheap. But if you can look at getting the parts bal.

I have a forged 346 with 6.0 liter truck heads unported. I'm running a f1C making 817 rwhp and 690rwtq. So I think you'll be just fine.
