TC Question/Problem
My C5 is a '98 coupe with a bunch of mods that add up to around 780 RWHP. Needless to say, traction (MN6, 3.42s, 335/30-18 Pilot Sports) is a challenge. My question: when the tires blow off and the TC cuts power, rather than returning to "normal" mode when the spinning stops, it puts the car into low power or limp home status. This can only be overidden by cutting and restarting the engine.
Is this the way the 1998 TC system is designed to function, or does my car have a gremlin?
