Default Power.............reducers?

I'm still saving for my Pro Charger or Magnuson, I haven't decided on which one. The hood change is a concern. My other concern is the unauthorized flogging of your car! I took my previous LT1 Camaro(lots of mods) in for a warranty repair. The shady service guy said that I had to leave it overnight. I agreed and when I picked it up the next day, it had an additional 50 miles on it. Not a lot you can do after it's done. I'm worried about my C-5 as it is, I can just imagine if I take in and everyone knows it has 500+ hp. Every Lot boy, salesman, and whoever, will be taking for a "road test.":cry The Ferris Bueller(SP) movie comes to mind. Remember how the ZR1 had that key to turn off the secondaries? That was a cool device. Does anyone know of any aftermarket hidden or keyed gizmo that might do the same thing for a supercharged engine?.........I know there's no secondaries, I ment reducing the h.p. or rev limiter. Thanks.

I always found the key on the ZR1 amusing.

When it was off it still made a little over 300HP!!!

Like 300 isn't enough of a thrill for a kid.

Not much you could do to limit the power.
A REV limiter might be possilbe, but could be complicated.

I wonder if an MSD with a 2000 RPM chip is possible?

I've never seen a chip below 6000

Very easy :) Add a restrictor to your airintake (just as the racing community is doing when they have to much horsepower for their class).

I have to go to a government controlled test station once a year and they do NOT like modified cars. I made a small piece of plastic with a circular 25mm hole and installed in-line between the airfilter and MAF.

Ouch what a slow car I have once a year
