I figured I would post this here since that is where he hangs out the most. Steve was in a bad single car accident in his supercharged Vette. He is in the hospital with 5 broken ribs and collasped lung. Please say a prayer for him. Not much left of the Vette. At least no one else was involved and there was no passenger as the roof was crushed. I think his roll bar helped save his life. Everyone need to be careful with that much power, It can get away from you very quickly. Hopefully he will back on the forum with updates in a couple of days.

Best wishes to Steve for a complete and speedy recovery.
I know too well what too much power at the wrong moment can do. Before the 'Vette, I had a '94 Camaro with a 383 LT4, Vortech T-Trim, etc. that made 610 RWHP. On the day that Dale Earnhardt bought the farm (02/18/2002) on a straight dry road, it kicked sideways in 3rd gear at around 45 mph, then a four deep ditch and a barrel roll. Injuries to my wife and I were relatively minor, but the car (obviously) was toast.
It took six months of begging and pleading to get me the C5, and another year before the mod party started.

Could happen to any of us. I've been close more times than I care to mention.
Good luck!
