For the kenne bell guys how did you cut the back of the hood and what did you use to support the hood from cracking. Particularily the vis carbon fiber hood guys. I got somewhat of an idea on where and how far to cut the back of the cowl. Just not really sure what to support it with once it has been cut. Any advice and or pics would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure I understand your question.........?
My KB kit came with the KB Hood (RKSports) and it fit perfectly.....
Hes talking about putting the vents in the back of the hood by the cowl if i am reading correctly. There was a thread on this with pics i couldnt find it by searching maybe you will have better luck
I hate to say it but that sounds like a issue KB should solve before they sell that hood with the kits.. Really no reason to pay for a hood that you have to modify yourself. Jeff, Whats the standard procedure for this? Ive never had my hands on a 2.8 or larger unit to see the size difference.
The VIS hood is not the KB hood. The KB is an RK Sport model. I had to notch mine in two different locations. Where it contacted the 90mm intake tub and on the back of the hood ever so slightly. Going to have to trim it some more whenever I get the new intake if Jeff answers his PM....LOL

If that is all he is talking about then thats pretty standard, i was assuming it was a bigger issue then just minor rubbing.
