I am going twin turbo and sold my fast 90 and i purchaced a wrecked 02 coupe for some parts and parting the rest out.Anyway i was going to use the intake off of the wrecked car on mine and just took it off and found out that the engine was pushed back a bit from the font end hit and there is a small pin hole in the intake. can it be repaired or do i need another intake ? if i can repair it what would be the best way to repair it?
We would be able to give you a better answer if you could get us a picture of the intake.
i wish i could but my connection sucks bad at the moment until i get my new service installed on saturday i cant upload pics. the hole is at the back of the intake at the top of the round part and it is litterally the size of a pencil lead at the most
I usually fix Plastic by melting the plastic together with a soldering iron then if you wish you can use some sort of epoxy to make sure it's all sealed up
Do you think the stock '02 manifold is better than the Fast one? I have read that the stockers work really well with forced induction, but wouldn't a performance manifold work better?
