Default Root Style question

For the Root blowers can you still use a intercooler and how would it work? Air to water?

Most of the roots or twin screw blowers come with an intercooler, its placement is generally right below the blower ie on the kenne bell. It is an a/w intercooler set up. I believe your thinking more in the lines of a large front mount and no that would not work. These types of intercoolers are much smaller and placed within the intake manifold.

not really, the roots/twin screw systems mostly use an Air to water setup and the boosted air never leaves the engine block, the old dragon system mounted the blower to the side and used a front mounted air to air setup, but they have droped that design. most of the roots/twin screw setups use a compact air to water aftercooler in the v under or over the blower (depending on air path).
