Hi all, i still have a wierd sounds coming from my supercharger. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKn9yCRkY3s, i have changed out the blowoff valve with a new turbo smart valve, new belt, the vac lines seem to be ok, i pulled the line from the top of the BOV and it seems to hold suction...i kept it off and started the car but doesnt seem to be alot of suction when cars ideling..should there be?? just wondering what i should check next? would loosening the spring on the BOV help??
Remove your bypass valve. Blow through it and you'll find that it's leaking. Set it aside and order the new Turbosmart one from Andy. Install it and your boost leak will be gone. Your car will gain boost, make more power and stop making that hideous noise.
i changed out the BOV to the new turbosmart valve, took off the old vortech, i've adjusted the valve both ways "hard" and "soft" but still making the sound. I pulled the vacume line off the nipple of the bov while engine was running there no hissing or suction...should there be at idle??

Oh yeah. that was you on the original thread. :o I should read more .
The only thing left to do is is a boost leak test. I expect you'll find a hose got rubbed through or a loose connection.
Ha Ha ya no worries on the reading more... are there any other lines i should check other than the one from the BOV to the manifold? should that line have suction while engine is running??

I would put a plate or cap on the intake to the supercharger and charge the entire system with air. That should expose the problem with a quickness.
NIccce... well finally figured it out! i guess i was just being lazy the first time i checked it, cuz as i was about to video tape my vac lines for ya.. i found it pinched behing the Alt. DUH! special thanks to Andy at A&A, and all of you here on the site, made things pretty painless, my rides back to sounding BAD ***!!
