bad balancer

found out my balancer is bad ,making noise almost sent supercharger back for rebuild,Thanks steve at A&A for your help . come to find out balancer is bad ,hitting bracket for charger. who makes a good balancer for supercharged vettes not underdriven. Thanks

They also make a normal diameter as well 6 and 8 rib.

This is the same thing that happened to me, I had to install a new OE one due to time restarinta and will eventually do a IW balancer.

Ati makes a nice 8 rib balancer for the c5 as well,think I paid 450.00 for mine

I'm pretty sure the 8 rib ATI cannot be used on the A&A kit. Don't buy the ATI balancer without checking with A&A first. I know that the 6-rib won't work. The lip on the front of the balancer is too thick and will interfere with the bracket.

i am but i dont want to spend 550 on a balancer,but if i have to i will,just was hoping someone else had a good one for less. did'nt pay that for ati on my 8sec.chevelle .but i know you somtimes get what you pay for.

it sucks but the best way to go.. and its also the time to upgrade to an 8 rib, although you can get the 8 ribs and run a 6 rib belt for a while if you want to

What ever you do dont get the IW 6 rib it will hit the SC backet and you will have to get it milled down! Ask me how i know

Summit has some nice options for a lot less $ (one under $100, SFI approved for under $150) if you don't want to spend the 5 1/2 bills on an IW balancer.
