Default water/meth injection for engine cooling?

I noticed my recently aquired supercharged car runs warm in traffic. Yesterday it was running 220 in 80deg weather. As this was not a particularly warm Florida day, I have some concerns over overheating. I do not think I have a forged bottom end on the car (just bought it), so am not really wanting to increase HP just yet (next year is a different story)just wanting to have the engine run cooler. I was considering adding a water/meth kit to achieve this. If I do this, will I have to retune the car? I am talking any sense here? please enlighten me. I am running a procharger with 9lb boost, headers, cam, borla. LS1 motor

Meth system is are dont work like what you are saying. It only comes on and work when the car goes into boost. By what you are saying you need to get your self a aftermarket radiator. I have one in my car and the diff in the 2 radiator is like night and day.... On a hot dat I only get to 190 to 210 on a really hot day now... Yes I would get the car retune for the meth if you put it on the car but it is a safety thing to lower the runners and top end of the car down about 60 to 70 deg. You tuner shouldnt chg you that much if you use the same guy...

80 degree weather you should not be running that hot. I can sit in stop and go traffic in 95 degree weather with stock radiator and never go over 192. Do you know what temps your fans come on/off at?
Im sure you probably also got dirt and debris in your lower radiator area. Look down in between condenser and radiator and see whats in there. Its hard to get it out of fins without taking radiator out tho.

Thanks for the info guys. There's always one Ahole that has to state the obvious. I bought the car from a dealer. They didn't have the info. I have since tracked down the builder of the motor and he is sending me all the specs and dyno sheet,

Not being an ahole, I just feel like the build info is the one piece of information I'd get before purchasing a car with FI that did not come with FI. Like you said the obvious, it just must not have been that obvious.
