Default Tranny coolers

I have a SC LS-1 and I installed a FLT tranny and I was wondering
where members are installing their aftermarket tranny coolers???
I know alot of guys just use the OEM unit.
Thanks for your help.

I bought a B&M cooler with fan and installed it under the drivers side headlight. It knocked 40 degrees on average. I have a Yank 3200, RPM level V and 3:42,s. Parts with braided lines and all was right at $500. If you do it, make sure you put it down low enough after removing the brake duct, to clear the headlight when it retracts. Just run the lines along the base of the radiator above the spoiler. Mine goes through the radiator cooler first, but a lot of the guys skip the radiator altogether. Good luck!! Rod

I have a B&M cooler mounted mine under the passanger side headlight. It came with a fan, can't remember what temp it turns on.... I cut the brake duct and lighting holed the fender well with 1/2 holes for good air flow. I bypassed the radiator all together, cutting the tranny lines and flaring them to fit SS braided hose.
