Default not making boost No leaks /Found problem

Just wanted to reveal a problem I had with my car not making boost past 4k,some of u guys may have listened to the 2 videos that were uploaded on the forum, basically sounded like rocks in the unit & a few of u guys told me the bearings were toast,so paxton calls me last week & they find the bearings to be bad,but the problem relies @ thefeedline fitting that has the screen it was clogged up & coudnt let oil in the system,so I would advise anyone to take that fitting & hose off & make damn sure this thing isn't clogged,it could have been much worse, impeller issues or more a new head unit

I pull the fitting and blow screen out every oil change. It usually doesnt have much of anything on the screen preventing flow. I was going to yank that little screen out of the fitting and run a inline oil filter instead but just havnt got around to doing it.

Paxton told me,it was either something coming out of the sending unit or something stuck in the feedline, the screen is in the fitting

Screen just pulls out as its just a press fit down in the bottom but its not easy to grab it and yank it out as it might ruin it. You arent suppose to remove screen to clean it, just shoot some carb cleaner in there and then blow it out. It doesnt take much to actually clog it up since its on the dirty side of the oil path. You can see some crap on the screen in the picture.

Jamie @ paxton tells me that the stuff that clogged the screen is either coming from the sending unit or something in the feedline is clogged,if it was coming from the sending unit would the oil pressure remain the same, drop or go up? My oil pressure is @ 60psi @ idle

Very good post and worth making a sticky IMHO. The screen should be checked routinely-like every oil change.

You wouldn't believe what can get clogged in there. I've seen some pretty disgusting practices from some shops-like using silicone on the rocker bolts-any idea where this stuff could end up?

Ignore the wipe pattern on the valve-that's whole other cobbled mess.
