Took some time off before the holidays and started to install my KB BAP,my car is a 1997and I decided to install in drivers side rear tire well.I am installing without the Racetronix wiring harness,my question is what gray wire do i splice the red wires from the BAP to? The connector that plugs into the fuel tank has four wires, the outer wire is gray followed by a secound gray, and then a blue and black wire any help would be GREAT. THANKS
I am connecting to stock fuel pump, I am installing supercharger in March-April looking at a 500 rwhp goal, and am not looking into doing a lot of racing so I do not belive I will need to install aftermarket pumps. Does anybody know what wire on the harness that connects to the fuel tank is the power to the pump? Any help would be appreciated, and everbody out there "MERRY CHRISTMAS"
I may decide to purchase the Racetronix harness, having 25 years experience as an electronics tech I know about voltage and current and what wire size will carry certain amount of current, and the wire gauge in the factory wiring harness is to small to carry higher currents. Am curious about larger fused gauge wire coming from altenator will power be avalible only when car is running? Newbe here about supercharging, thanks for the replys. Happy Holidays to all members of this forum.
Buying the connectors and relay to fab the wiring harness will be a pain, so I will purchase instead. I left the BAP mounted and wire tied the wires and installed liner and wheel back on. Thanks for helping me figure out how to go about on the install. Regards
I just don't get how running wire is easier than the 15 minutes it takes to swap the pump. Why boost a tired pump? If anything I would do the BAP, Walbro, and Racetronix harness.
