Unfortunately I have a late 03 fuel system. Had I known I was going FI 3 years ago I would have bought an 02.
Right now im running 60lb injectors, Racetronix hotwire kit, and KB BAP- I have Meth but im trying to have a fuel system that can suffice then add meth on top to be safe. Im dropping FP up top around 5k rpm
Anyway my question- Im looking for a drop in fuel pump replacement setup that works with my factory rails- anyone know of one thats proven?

I looked for that for a while for mine and found nothing. A few options are to install a c6z pump, or you can make a "Y" in and add 2 pumps. ( there is a writeup somewhere on here)
I finally decided to have RSI just build me a system for mine. ( late 03 as well )
Just get a A&A or ECS separate fuel system thats comes on in boost only. Very simple to put on and it works and you can ditch the BAP as well. Screw dropping our tanks as thats a PITA as ive been there and done that and after 2 failed aftermarket "better" POS pumps or the jet siphon system not working afterwards I aint doing that again.

It basically amounts to cutting the bottom of the bucket off and wiring and tee'ing two Walbro 255 LPH pumps in parallel and running a Racetronix harness to them with a 30A fuse, no BAP. Total cost is <$250. You lose the venturi function that helps fill the bucket but in the '03+ systems I don't see the need for it. My pumps' socks sit on the floor of the tank. Unless I have <1/8th of a tank of gas its not going to be a problem. Remember that the passenger tank pump works to keep the drivers side full so 1/4 tank per the gauge means the drivers side tank is half full. The tank transfer is still fully functional.
I have never had a FPG installed, just an on board AEM WB and have not seen any problems with being lean althought I could be tuning around it. I got an Aeroforce Interceptor with fuel pressure sender for XMAS so I'll know for sure what my pressures are shortly.

Yeah I know but the thought of tapping into my fuel tank just doesnt appeal to me. I want something that is easily reversible if need be and thats easy on the pocket book. I just wish someone would make it simple to add fuel effectively while still retaining the factory fuel system with out having to do a return and taps and what not.
FWIW I think TJWong said he has gotten a C6 Z pump to 700 RWHP without a BAP. I would venture to say thats pushing it. A C6 Z pump comes inside the bucket as an assembly so it is plug and play and is ~$400 I think. It would probably take care of your problem and if not you could BAP it again. I wanted to get away from the BAP and I was doing my clutch at the time so the twin Walbro route seemed like a good way to go.
Also as duscussed there is the new Aeromotive 340 pump which flows a heck of a lot more than a C6 Z or Walbro 255 and is the same form factor. Should be out soon and is said to retail for $175 I think. So you could replace the stock pump with that and it would fit inside the bucket, sock and all. The downside is that you still lose the venturi. Personally I think the one way valve on the bottom of the bucket would suffice but I have not tested how quickly it lets fuel into the bucket VS: how quickly the pump drains the bucket. Worse comes to worst you could drill holes in the bottom of the bucket.
Here's the single drop-in I was telling you about earlier. It's 625.95 from PartsTaxi.com, one of our supporting vendors. I have no experience with this system, but it looks to have good parts and a solid design.
Here's the thread. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-f...staxi-com.html
I'm running the A1000 intank, it's not just a drop in. You need bigger fuel lines and wiring at a minimum. Aeromotive recommeds running one of there pump speed controllers also. Not the cheapest choice but it will flow some fuel. I'm also running a second external boost activated A1000 so I don't ever have to worry about fuel again
For the OP, if you don't have plans to go crazy on HP go with the ECS or A&A external pump setup. Most of the other options require you to drop the fuel cell which is a lot of work unless you have the tranny out of the car....
I'm not a fan of that kit. Particularly as it is touted as being "drop in". It needs a lot of other parts to make it work.
Yeah thats the kit I looked at that House of boost and aeromotive co engineered.
It is alot more than advertised- you also need their fuel line kit which for me is no problem as I have every kind of teflon and rubber hose and fittings available to me at no cost. More hassle than I want for the money.
Leave the BAP and add the A&A fuel system, you will have plenty of fuel.
A&A recommends if you have a BAP wire it to the external 2nd pump and not the in tank one but with the Bosch 044 a BAP probably isnt gonna be needed for anything under 850-900 or so rwhp..
