Default Which Fuel pump?

I have decided to go down to one external fuel pump, don't really see the need for two. Which

pump do you guys recommend? I have 2 bosch 44s right now, but one of them is on its way

out and I figured I would just buy a brand new pump. Should I stick with 1 New 044, or should

I look into a different pump? I have one 255 in the tank right now and I am looking for the

850hp range. Thanks.

I was thinking of an in-tank setup but I have already drilled the tank, and ran all of the lines for the way it is setup right now.

I have a stock intank and an 044 external and should see mid 700s-800rw. I would do my setup but with the new aeromotive 340 pump instead of the 044. Or swap the 044 with the a1000

I have read a little about the new 340, but it hasn't been released yet, has it? I used to have an A1000 on my TT cobra and that thing was a bit on the loud side.

The new aeromotive 340 is supposed to be out at the end of the month but jegs says it will be available to ship on 3/11/11 I believe. There is a thread about the 340 in the C6 FI section if you want to check it out.

I am hoping that it will. I did over 550 with just the 255 in the tank, no BAP. I am hoping the additional pump will make up the difference.

4 A1000's in series

seriously though, the A1000 might be a lil on the loud side, use it off a hobbs switch to only come on under boost. Youll never notice it.

That is how it is rigged now(hob switch). I see that the A1000 has -10 inlet and outlet; I am assuming they make a reducer from -10 to -8 so it will fit my feed line?

You could reduce to an 8, or upgrade your lines to a 10

There have really nice brush less motor set ups!

Other wise stick with the 044

I am kind of leaning towards the Bosch 044 now, just because that is what I was using. I need to find a check valve for the pump though. Jayracing seems to be the only place I can find one, and they are out of stock.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the 044s have an internal check valve....might be wrong though

The 044 pump in the kit I have from A&A has a check valve on the pump outlet so probably doesn't have a internal one.
