Default Crankcase Ventilation

Hey guys, I put a Moroso breather can on the car and today was the first day I drove it since the new additions since Thanksgiving.

I drove it today for ~50 miles and came home to change the oil. I noticed just a little fluid in the can, so I emptied it. To my surprise, it was just water. Maybe from condensation?? Anyone ever experience this?

Also, I noticed at idle, there is a little bit of smoke constantly coming from the breather on the can. Is that normal??

Thanks

could just be cold vapor you are seeing. Are you running check valves in you setup or open both ways?

Yeah, I figured its some kind of vapor, but wanted to see what everyone thought.

Its a 1-way can. A -10AN line from each valve cover that "T's" into a single -10AN into the can. No checkvalve

Here go da pic
You cant see the line coming around behind the engine from the drivers side cover, but you can see the passenger cover line and the can.

A little bit of constant blow by is normal out of the breather.

How do you keep from boosting the crankcase W/O a check valve?

It's the same concept as if I had a breather on each valve cover, except I am using lines into a can. There is no line back into the motor.
