Thanks for shutting the track down today because 60* weather scares you guys. Lots of guys from 100+ miles away had planned this weekend to come, and they pull that. Last straw for me and Lone Star after Hennessey got the track years ago and put their shop there.
From: Ok! So you don't believe in conspiracies, but will you acknowledge the possibility of there being coordinated activities in secret places? Texas
Nice event overall. Lots of nice cars. Lots of truely FAST street cars. For example - There was a Nissan there last year that ran in Mexico, Friday night. Showed up Sunday at Lonestar and ran a 7.8x sec 1/4. A dude told me last year that if you ain't running 9s leave it in the garage. Most of the cars there were 10 and 11 sec cars though. Much fun to be had. The Frank and Stien event was wild, and I didn't even see the swimsuit contest. Search TX2k10 on youtube. It is primarily an import/Supra event, but every brand is represented. I'm expecting to see a Veyron there this year, but he won't be quick enough.
No offense to you locals, but Friday night in Franknsteins was much better before all the white trash and ricers from Houston showed up for the bikini contest Saturday.
If I feel comfortable running mine, Ill take mine out. Ive heard that 750rwhp+ in a vette is a nice combo and does quite well in mexico
its not always about hp, its about traction...I don't see RC beating SW this year either becuase you may have 500hp more, but the Lambo has all wheel drive... He has traction issues last year... but yes 750 will do well,

Exactly. If I dead hook, 750+rwhp is tough to beat...that is unless a supe is break boosting and has instant boost

put it this way.. i had somewhere around there and didn't lose all last year.. from a 50 roll 19-0 i raced more powerful cars, i just knew my race and my cars ability between traction and max power in such rpm range.
