Need advice...
My goal is between 500 -550 HP
99 C5 coupe, with LT headers, HF cats, CAI, tune. Stock tranny, rear end, and engine (76K miles on it).
I do not track or drag it. Its a weekend toy for me. Drivability and reliability (as much as possible) is important.
SC or turbo? Thanks for your help

SC is much more simple on our cars.
You are in California so get the A&A kit and call it a day, you will hit 500 whp no problem

SC is a no brainer for you. Don't get greedy on that stock motor either.

That what I did, as soon as I get the car back from the tuner I'll post up some numbers but there are lots of examples on the forum making those numbers with several different systems.

Stock tranny was listed, is it a automatic or manual? If it is a automatic you will need to upgrade to handle the added horsepower even if you don't go to the track or drag strip, if its a manual you will need to upgrade to a clutch that will handle the added hp. My two cents.

mmartinez, the car is a MN6. I'm probably going with the LS7 clutch upgrade, unless you guys recommend another brand.
I know the cost of the A&A kit installed is approx $6500 - $7000
How much would a twin turbo installed cost approx? I was looking at the UPP's setup. What's your thoughts on that kit, slowZO6?

A TT car in California sounds like a nightmare to me. Has it been done?
