Default Lean shut down switch?

Is it worth the hassle of wiring it in? Anyone have problems with running one?

From what I've been told you will hurt the motor if you shut it down under high RPMs or boost. That's why the factory has the motor break down on the rev limiter instead of shutting it down.I've never heard of anyone doing it.

How about a big warning light or an alarm instead?

Suddenly putting the rear tires into decel sounds like something that could kill you under certain circumstances, like when cornering near the traction limit.

I have a lean shutdown on the nitrous system. The Trick Performance Gauge, you can set limits based on AFR (or fuel pressure if your using the guage for Fuel Pressure instead of AFR) as well as Bottle Pressure (to low or to High) that will shut down the Nitrous System. Seems better than a Fuel Pressure Safety Switch. There are other electronics as well (HSW and Nitrous Outlet), that do the same thing.

While a good concept, the only way to verify the systems are working as you set them up is to log data for the passes.

Thats probably the coolest gauge I've ever seen!!! I did a google search trying to find one to buy or at least see how much they are and cant seem to find em anywhere. I guess nitro dave sold them but they aren't on his site anymore. Your car comes up a lot though... Very nice set up

Beers probably made that gauge himself, it looks like the same material as his beer panel
